THIS IS A SPECIAL BULLETIN!!!
GOLF 2000
29 JULY 00
WHAT: BASIC FOUR PERSON 9 HOLE SCRAMBLE
WHERE: Bridger Creek Golf Course Bozeman, Montana
WHEN: Tee times starting at 8:30 a.m.
SHOW ME THE MONEY: $25 for 9 holes (price is green fee, power cart, and prize money)
OPTION: $41 for 18 holes (this is for those who want to continue thru the back nine)
We currently have a three-hour block set aside which would accommodate 90 golfers. For pro shop purposes we need a final tally by July 1, 2000,
(This is only for those who wish to have some fun in the sun golfing, while shooting for Class of 80 bragging rights to be held for the next ten years by four lucky people!)
This tournament will be for fun more than anything, so please dont worry about your golfing abilities. If youve only golfed a couple times in your life then this may be the round that gets you hooked! If youre a pro and dont think you can stoop to our level, then just remember that there are prizes to be had at this here event. Please sign up your significant others, too! The more the merrier!
We will put couples together on the same team if requested, but other than that we will just start writing in names for teams based on your HONEST input as to what your average score is for nine holes, or letting us know that youve only golfed a couple times in your busy life.
We will be requesting that your send your money with your reunion fees, so start your reunion savings account NOW!! (A good way to make some extra money for all this reunion gunk is to start skimming 10% off your kids allowance and odd jobs claiming that its your take for being their agent!! Just dont be doing any skimming from the offering plate at church, eh? No trading a ten for a twenty as it passes by!)
If you have any input for the tournament such as ideas for what to give prizes for, i.e. long drive, close to the pin, etc., then send me a note. Maybe youre one of those nice business owners that like donating things to give as prizes!! It would be fun to have as many prizes as possible so every one would have a chance to walk away with something.
